Service Description

Manual Therapy included our Graston/IASTM/FAKTR, Cupping, and Muscle and Myofascial release, Muscle Flossing services. Manual therapy can include a vary of services. We enjoy having the ability to personalize care for our patients and offer treatment options that focus on soft tissues to aid in recovery, range of motion, and performance assistance. Depending on the condition or complain being treated, one or several of the therapies may be used in a manual therapy session. Graston/FAKTR therapy can include the use of tools to scape over muscle and tendon tissues to break up any connective tissue adhesions or scar tissue formations. (CASH ONLY) Lastly, muscle flossing, also called "voodoo flossing" has to do with the use of a therapy band wrapped tightly around the target region, and then the patient is instructed by the provider to perform a variety of movements. The band will apply compression to the region during the therapy. Patients may note improved mobility, decrease pain, and more. (CASH ONLY) Muscle and Myofascial release work with the provider "pinning" points of a muscle down as they work through the various muscle and connective tissue fibers. This can be done passively or actively, meaning with or without movement of the region while the therapy is being applied. (*** this specific manual therapy can be a CASH or insurance service. As with any other billable insurance service, if charged to the insurance company - the cost is variable per insurance plan.)
